I like my top 3 photos for a lot of different reasons. I like the first one because of the color. I consider this photo simplistic, and it is rule of thirds. I like how the stand curves kind of like an S curve. I like the second photo because of the repetition. I also like how the snow looks, and how the background is white. The saturation is higher which makes the wood look bright and I like that. I like the third photo because the perspective of the picture. It is very simplistic and follows the rule of thirds. I like it because your eye is automatically drawn to the bird feeder and there is a little pop of color. To be able to complete this unit, I had to understand the guidelines which we were supposed to follow. The guidelines for the photo were simplicity, repetition, leading lines, and rule of thirds. I based my photos around those things, and if I didn't understand them the unit would be hard to complete.

reflection
I like my top three photos. I am very confident in them. I like the first one because it has interesting colors, and I like my use of bokeh. I like that it is not similar to other bokeh photos taken. I like the second one because of the symmetry, how the computer reflects on the table. I like the light around the computer, and how it has something to focus on, not just the lighting. I like the third photo because it outlines a person, and how the light trails off of the body and makes heart. I like that the rest of the photo is black, and just the person is illuminated by the light. To complete this unit I had to learn about lighting. Before, I did not know what side lighting and back lighting were, but to do this assignment I had to know what they were and how to achieve them. I had to learn how to do bokeh, by focusing on your hand then moving it to take the picture.

I chose these top three photos for various reasons. I like the first photo because it is simple, and it gives a different perspective rather than looking at it normally. I like that it is blurry in the front, and more focused in the back. I like the second photo because it is tilted. If the photo was directly on and strait, it would look different. I like the color as well, it is very bright. I like the third photo because I took all of our other projects into account, this photo follows rule of thirds, and simplicity. To do this assignment, I had to understand our previous assignments. Those assignments were able to help me get a new perspective, but also follow the other rules in photography like lighting techniques, leading lines, rule of thirds.

I like my top three photos for different reasons. I like the first one because of the shadows that my hand casts. I like the color, and the word written on my hand, it actually means something to me. I like the second photo because the point of view I held the camera, and I like that it is black and white. I like the third photo for the point of view, it was a different one and I like my fish in the front of me, his name is bowser. To do this assignment, I had to understand myself. I had to explore myself and be able to take some great selfies!
happy place
reflection
My bedroom is my happy place. All these photos correspond to my bedroom because they are all what I like to do in my bedroom. I like to hang out and laugh with my family and friends, so there is a picture of me and my friend laughing. I like to draw and be creative, so I took a cool perspective picture of my notebook. I like being comfortable, eating my favorite candies, lounging around, and lots of other things. I made sure to put all of my favorite things to do in my happy place in pictures. I am very happy for the way this turned out, and I feel like it explains who I am when I am in my favorite place.
